It’s Time to Get Splashed!

We've brought back the penguins and other favorite animals, such as seahorses and tropical fishes in the newly opened "Splash Zone: Ocean Homes" exhibit.

The renovated and expanded family galleries explore three ocean habitats—the Enchanted Kelp Forest, Coral Reef Kingdom and Rugged Rocky Shore—and the bustle of life within each. We've also expanded the size of the touch pool and penguin exhibits.

The new galleries feature over 45 bilingual interactive exhibits, plus new animals, including leafy and weedy sea dragons, pot-bellied seahorses, garden eels and cuttlefish.

		White Shark Reports In An electronic tag on the white shark we released in February from our Outer Bay exhibit has begun reporting, almost on a daily basis. The shark has safely passed Cabo San Lucas and is heading for waters off the Mexican mainland. Where will he go next? You can track his progress online.
