This personalized tour focuses on your interests and questions as you experience the ultimate insider's view of the Aquarium. Discover our animals and plants in front of the galleries, then follow our guide through the "Employees Only" doors that you've always wished you could open. Behind-the-scenes, you'll see where we care for animals, how we prepare food for them, and where we keep new arrivals.

Fees: Registration fees do not include Aquarium admission. Reservations are required and must be made at least two weeks in advance. Guided tours are subject to availability. Please be on time! Guides will be released from their responsibility 15 minutes after your scheduled arrival time. No-shows or late arrivals will be fully charged.

All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children under 6 will only be allowed on the All-age Family Tour at noon on weekends during April.

Cancellation: We require at least 72 hours advance notice is required for any change or cancellation. Reservations and cancellations are processed by phone (not by e-mail).

Behind-the-Scenes Tour

$12 per person plus admission general public
$10 per person Aquarium members
(50 minutes), five to seven times a day
Ages 6 to adult
(all ages allowed on the 11:30 Family Tour)

Each 50-minute tour will give you a chance to go behind the scenes of our beautiful exhibits. From dive shows to feedings there is always something different going on, and we'll take you where the action is!

You can also choose our Family Tour geared to families with children under 8. Offered daily at 11:30 through September 6, this interactive group experience takes you behind the scenes with trained naturalists who tell the stories of our most popular animals. Select this time slot while making reservations online, or request the Family Tour from our reservations center.

In Person: You may register at the main entrance, the member entrance or at the Aquarium Adventures desk.

Fees: Tour registration fees do not include Aquarium admission. All participants must have a ticket.
